Pursuant to the Maryland Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Historical licensing data for all licensed child care providers (active and closed) that were open anytime from 1/1/19-present:
• Provider name or ID
• Provider address or geocode
• Latest license issue date and expiration date
• First license issue date
• Any additional provider data that your agency collects
If electronic records from before 1/1/19 are available, I’d be happy to collect them as well.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

3. Are you requesting spreadsheet data or copies of actual licensing
documents?

Thank you for contacting Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE),
this correspondence is just to follow-up your inquiry regarding the status
of your Maryland Public Information Act (MPIA) request received on
September 13, 2023. On September 18, 2023, after correspondence with MSDE,
you provided clarification of the type of records that you seek. Please
note that with each change to the request, the production time changes as
well.
MSDE is diligently working to meet the current 30-day production date of
October 13, 2023. If anything changes or if MSDE requires more time to
produce these documents, we will notify you as soon as possible. Thank you
