A roster of current law enforcement officers at Knoxville Police Department, with full names and hire dates. Please provide these records in their current format.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 7 business days, as the statute requires.

Mr. Hoover, attached are the records that you'd requested. I apologize that it took me so long to get these to you.

There is no fee. The City follows the labor-reimbursement schedule outlined by the Tennessee Office of Open Records Counsel in handling records requests. The first hour of labor is waived, but then your fee would be the reimbursement for City employees' time for each subsequent hour. The labor in collecting these records was right at 1 hour, so the fee for that first hour is waived.
