To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

A copy of all documents, including but not limited to, applications, agreements, budgets, purchase orders, invoice, and reporting documents, including all annual reports and other reporting materials submitted by the agency for any grants of American Rescue Plan funds or ESSER funds from 1/1/2020 to the present date.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

e

Please clarify if you are wanting invoices on supplies purchased or software purchased. We can give a detailed list of the vendors that were paid on which dates and how much, but pulling every invoice paid for the last 4 years with Esser/Arp Funds will be very tedious and will require us to charge for the labor. I would have to do an estimate on how much it would take and could possibly require more time then allowed with these requests so I may need an AG opinion.

Are you requesting our submissions to TEA to drawdown these funds?

Are you wanting the Noga’s from the grants that will provide you with the budget numbers?

Thank you.

Can I start with all of the application documents, including budgets, that were submitted to the TEA, if there were any?

From: Texas City Independent School District

I have included the information that was in your clarification on March 29th. All of the ESSER grant programs are a part of the American Rescue Plan. The ARP encompasses all of the grants. It’s the main name for the COVID law that was passed.
