Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Archive FBI records for file numbers 100-HQ-348615 and 100-PH-41513 pertaining to William Stetson Kennedy (October 5, 1916 – August 27, 2011), a famous American author, folklorist, and human rights activist. He is remembered for having infiltrated the Ku Klux Klan in the 1940s, and exposing its secrets to authorities and the outside world. His obituary was widely published and can be referenced as proof of death here: https://www.nytimes.com/2011/08/30/us/30kennedy.html

The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press in furtherance of the process of news gathering, and will not be used for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
