To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Pennsylvania Right to Know Act, I hereby request the following records:

• A copy of the bid submitted by Pittsburgh in response to Amazon's request for proposals for the site of its second headquarters — document(s) which would have been sent between September 1, 2017 through January 20, 2018 — and any supplemental materials provided to Amazon at the same time.

Other finalist cities have provided us with the bids they submitted, and they typically look something like this: https://www.muckrock.com/foi/boston-3/amazon-hq2-bid-44971/#file-161828

Please provide responsive materials on a rolling basis. If you have any questions, you can reach us at 617-299-1832.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Paxtyn Merten

CJ:

Did you see that this is the same request submitted three times under different email addresses? How do you want me to handle it?
Thanks!
Eileen

From: Paxtyn Merten

Hello and thanks for your call,

I'm emailing to let you know it's fine to look into my three identical requests as one request (under the number 61847-05143689) as long as you're sure to look into the three agencies I filed with for any material that might be duplicative, or that might be in one agency but not the others.

Again, those three agencies are the Clerk's Office, the City of Pittsburgh, and the Pittsburgh Mayor's Office.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for your time,
Paxtyn Merten
