To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the The Kansas Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

A current list of all UAS/UAV/RPV/drone Certificates of Waiver or Authorization (COA), including date of application, name of applicant, waiver status and date of expiration filed by the Topeka Police Department and the City of Topeka. A COA is an authorization issued by the Air Traffic Organization to a public operator for a specific UA activity

COA is considered to be a matter of public record by Kansas Statutes and in accordance with precedent KSA 45-221.12 does not make them exempted from release .

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
