To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Georgia Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

All emails in Elections Director and Chief Investigator Chris Harvey's inbox from Nov. 6-8, 2019 containing the keywords and phrases "election issues," "ballot," "discrepancies," and "voting machines."

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Mackenzie Farkus

From: Secretary of State

Good Afternoon,

For this open records request, you specifically requested "all emails in Elections Director and Chief Investigator Chris Harvey's inbox from November 6-8, 2019, containing the keywords and phrases 'election issues,' 'ballot,' 'discrepancies,' and 'voting machines.'" Our office conducted a diligent search using the time frame (2018 instead of 2019) and the specific combination of all terms/phrases provided in the request. With that, there are no records responsive to the particular request. This the complete response to the request.

Sincerely,

Open Records Officer

From: Mackenzie Farkus

I am appealing this decision because I have received emails from Gwinnett County that contain some of Chris Harvey's emails from the dates in this request, as well as some of my keywords. Attached is a copy of FOIA'd emails that proves this.
