From: Frank Matt

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Ohio Open Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

Case files on fair housing complaints about Kushner Properties, Westminster Management, or properties owned by these companies and their subsidiaries. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development confirmed to me that the Ohio Civil Rights Commission investigated at least two such cases and possesses the relevant files. I attached HUD's response to my Freedom of Information Act request, which contains this confirmation.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I would request your response within ten (10) business days.

Sincerely,

Frank Matt

Hello Frank,

A colleague contacted me because he received a letter from you dated January 22, 2018 requesting records related to Kushner Properties/Companies or Westminster Management. I believe we may have already provided digital copies of a portion of the cases that were referenced in your HUD FOIA request (see attached, Roby v Westminster Management, and email below). That attached provides some basic information but is not the entire case file. As we discussed on the phone on January 12, this provides an idea of the case content so you can decide whether you wanted to request further documents from these cases. Because your request to HUD was slightly broader than what we discussed on the phone, I expanded my search query in our database and found an additional case that matches your request. I've attached related case documents for that case as well.

If you could clarify whether the attached meets your request, it would be appreciated. I will be happy to provide additional documents as needed.
Thanks,
Mary
