Pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

- All documents outlining a strategic plan to prevent or mitigate heating issues at RRHA property, issued between Jan. 1, 2021 and the time this request is processed.
- Any log or index of heating issues at RRHA properties, including nature of the issue, date it was reported, and progress in fixing it.
-All emails from RRHA Board member Barrett Hardiman mentioning "Gilpin Court" and "heat" received by the CEO between Jan. 1, 2021 and the time this request is processed.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority (RRHA) acknowledges receipt of your FOIA request, dated February 3, 2021 received on February 25, 2021.

Just to clarify - is the info@rrha address not monitored regularly? Three weeks is an awfully long time to not get an acknowledgement, and one could argue that it is obstructive.

Good afternoon Mr. Nash,

I hope this email finds you well. In response to your recent FOIA request, RRHA offers the following:

* All documents outlining a strategic plan to prevent or mitigate heating issues at RRHA property, issued between Jan. 1, 2021 and the time this request is processed.

RRHA did not issue any such strategic plan between January 1, 2021 and today. Therefore, there are no records responsive to this request.

* Any log or index of heating issues at RRHA properties, including nature of the issue, date it was reported, and progress in fixing it.

RRHA currently owns and maintains a large property portfolio, which includes approximately 3,800 residential housing units, and have owned many of these properties for decades. Therefore, this request is likely to produce a significant amount of records. Are you able to narrow your request to a particular timeframe and/or certain properties?

* All emails from RRHA Board member Barrett Hardiman mentioning "Gilpin Court" and "heat" received by the CEO between Jan. 1, 2021 and the time this request is processed.

Attached, are all the email threads involving emails from Commissioner Hardiman to Ms. Daniels-Fayson between January 1, 2021 and today. Please note that these have been redacted to remove personal contact information, pursuant to Va. Code § 2.2-3705.1(10), and all information that could be used to identify a recipient of federal housing assistance in accordance with the Federal Privacy Act (see 5 U.S.C. § 552a), its implementing regulation (see 24 C.F.R. § 5.212), and Va. Code § 2.2-3705.7(8). Specifically, a resident's name was redacted from these emails.

RRHA has no other documents or records in its possession that are responsive to your request.
