This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
All email messages sent between Warren Firschein of the FCC and Erica Goode of Booz Allen Hamilton in regards to FOIA 2013-212, filed by Michael Morisy of MuckRock.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

This is an update on the status of your recent FOIA request, which seeks "[a]ll email messages sent between Warren Firschein of the FCC and Erica Goode of Booz Allen Hamilton in regards to FOIA 2013-212, filed by Michael Morisy of MuckRock."
Your FOIA request is currently being processed. Please note that our office was closed during the recent extended government shutdown, which has impacted the Commission's ability to respond to your request in a timely manner. My unofficial guidance would be that the agency's response is likely to be finalized sometime within the next ten or twelve working days, but that is just an estimate; it may very well take less time than that. Accordingly, would you consent to an extention of time for the Commission to respond to your request until Friday, November 15, which would adjust the Commission's initial deadline by the number of working days lost to our office due to the shutdown?
